Eng.Amin Al-Omari, the head of the city council, stated in a statement to the SANA correspondent that after the lighting of the martyrs market with solar energy and the panorama road of the National Hospital, the workshops began to pour concrete bases in preparation for the installation of lighting poles in each of the western starting center, Souk Al-Hamidiya Street and the old market street next to the Omari Mosque in the Daraa Al-Balad area. The town council of Ghassam in the eastern countryside of Daraa is also working on the same project in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program to equip solar lighting poles for the main streets and markets of the town. The city of Daraa started relying on solar energy in street lighting in the middle of last year, and the Panorama / National Hospital road, which is the longest road inside the city, as well as the martyrs street market, one of the most important commercial markets in the city, which witnessed a large percentage of occupancy after rehabilitating the infrastructure in the market, was lit.
